A photo of the food prices at one area of the Miami Grand Prix over the weekend went viral.
Lando Norris won the Miami Grand Prix on Sunday at the Miami International Autodrome. The race is a social event where many members of the rich and famous go to see and be seen. And if you go for a VIP experience, you’re paying a hefty price.
A photo of the menu at the Hard Rock Beach Club went viral over the weekend because people could not believe the astronomical prices. Maine lobster rolls were listed at $280, and carne asada nachos were $180.

Check out the suite prices for food and alcohol at F1 Miami over the weekend. Even if this food is for a group of four, it's still obscene. pic.twitter.com/zh37indR0w

Being fair, these weren’t the prices for food at the general concession stands. These were the prices at a specific VIP beach club where they have table/sit-down service. The food likely serves a group of people as well, which helps explain the lofty prices.
Still, any place in the world that charges $180 for nachos will attract negative attention, just as this did.
