Connor Stalions may have resigned from his position with the Michigan football team, but the former staffer is not exactly staying away entirely.
Stalions was in attendance at the Rose Bowl on Monday night when Michigan defeated Alabama in a College Football Playoff overtime thriller. Prior to kickoff, former Wolverines defensive end Chase Winovich shared a video on his Instagram story that featured Stalions.
The clip shows Winovich asking Stalions, “Conor, what are you thinking, bro?” Stallions turned with a confident smirk and replied, “It’s time.”

Winovich and Stalions had great seats, as the video showed them right behind the Michigan bench area.
Stalions is the alleged orchestrator of Michigan’s sign-stealing scheme. He resigned from his position with the team after evidence piled up that he illegally scouted opponents and stole their signals.
The NCAA is still investigating the sign-stealing operation. There is a chance Michigan and head coach Jim Harbaugh could face significant disciplinary action, though Harbaugh has maintained that he had no knowledge of any illegal activity.
For now, Michigan is preparing to face Washington in the College Football Playoff National Championship game. That game will take place at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, next Monday. It seems safe to assume Stalions will be in the building.
