The Indiana Pacers are on their way to the Eastern Conference Finals, but that still is not enough to impress Draymond Green.
In the latest episode of “The Draymond Green Show,” Green remained critical of the Pacers, dismissing them as a regular season team even after beating the New York Knicks. Green said the Boston Celtics would present a whole different challenge for Indiana, and predicted a “gentleman’s sweep” of five games.
Draymond Green still thinks the Pacers are a regular season team
“They got to the conference finals. Somebody had to get there. It’s the east.”

“I still personally think they’re an 82-game team, but I didn’t think the Knicks was real, so somebody had to get there,” Green said. “I got Boston, no problem. Should be a gentleman’s sweep. They got to the conference finals. Somebody has to get there. It’s the East. We get it. Somebody’s got to go. But congrats to them, that’s dope, but I think this is going to be the end of the road for them.”
The Celtics seem to be the only team Green thinks have a chance coming out of the East. That is fair, though the Pacers put together quite the showing to get as far as they have. Tyrese Haliburton probably will not be bothered by this considering the attitude he is taking during the playoffs, but it might work as some nice motivation for him.
The Celtics will be clear favorites against Indiana in the Eastern Conference Finals, but the Pacers have done well to overcome Milwaukee and New York in the first two rounds. They should not be taken lightly.
