Veteran driver Clint Bowyer is set to make his NASCAR return next month.

Spire Motorsports announced on Wednesday that Bowyer will drive their No. 7 Chevrolet Silverado in the Rackley Roofing 200 at Nashville Superspeedway as part of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The race is scheduled to take place on June 28.

Bowyer has not competed in NASCAR since 2020. He drove the No. 14 Ford for Stewart-Haas Racing full-time in the Cup Series from 2017-2020, winning two races in that span. He last drove in the Truck Series in 2016.

Bowyer, 44, will be reunited with crew chief Brian Pattie, who served as Bowyer’s crew chief in the Cup Series from 2012-2015. Bowyer is scheduled to be the seventh driver of No. 7 Silverado in the Truck Series this year.

Bowyer has served as an analyst for FOX since retiring from driving in the Cup Series. He still drives part-time in the SRX Series.
