The 53-year-old Quinn just completed his third season as the Dallas Cowboys’ defensive coordinator. He has coached in Seattle twice before. From 2009-2010, he served as Seattle’s assistant head coach and defensive line coach. He returned in 2013 and served as Pete Carroll’s defensive coordinator for two seasons before leaving to take the Atlanta Falcons head coach job.
Quinn went 43-42 in five and a half seasons as the Falcons’ head coach. He was fired following a 0-5 start to the 2020 season.
In addition to Quinn, the Seahawks have requested second interviews with Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, Rams defensive coordinator Raheem Morris and Giants offensive coordinator Mike Kafka.
